What was your first job?
My first job was working in my dad’s pet store growing up. When I was very little, I would peel the plastic backing off acrylic aquarium pieces for a penny a sheet. My first “adult” job was working for a veterinary hospital in Kentwood, MI. I typed medical records, worked in the kennel, assisted with surgeries, assisted the veterinarians, and took care of hospital patients.
If you were stranded on a desert island and were allowed three books, what three would you take?
If I could take 3 books with me on a desert island, I would choose A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway, A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold, and a romance novel.
What’s your favorite piece of technology of all time?
My favorite piece of technology of all time is the vaccine. Advancements in medicine and quality of life due to vaccines have made much of the succeeding technology possible – we are all here a lot longer to enjoy it!
What do you love most about working for Select Resources?
I love working for Select Resources because it gives me the opportunity to meet, talk to, and assist many different people. I truly work with some of the best people around who will go out of their way to help others!
