Owner
From a young age, Tom learned the value of integrity, consistency, positivity, and hard work, and has focused on these traits ever since. Whether it was during his years as a teenage paperboy or college-aged grocery store employee, or throughout his vast IT staffing experience, helping people solve their challenges has been his priority and key to success. During his 17 years with Select Resources, Tom has put his problem-solving, leadership, creative, and productivity skills to work in creating the vision and overseeing strategy and operations for the organization. Despite that length of time, he still gets a thrill each time a job seeker connects with a great job and finds it to be one of the most rewarding aspects of his profession. Tom’s passion is for the win, win, win – a person gets a job, a client secures a valuable resource for their company, and Tom gets to make a positive impact on others.

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt: He was in a leadership position during two of the most pivotal and important events of the last 150 years of history, the great worldwide depression of the 1930’s and the global conflict of World War 2. Spending a long lunch hearing what he was thinking as he attempted to find solutions to problems our country had never faced before would be fascinating to me.
The Challenges. From the beginning back 15 years ago as a pure “start-up” to what we have become today we have faced an untold number of major and minor obstacles. Learning to embrace them as an opportunities to grow both the business and as a person has simply been an amazing experience. Since this is a people business at its core many of those growth experiences were people related which is even better.
